Question Rear Door wiring question?

So i got my hands on some used electric running boards(So these little women can stop complaining about hopping up into the truck) and some puddle lights for my 06 megacab. I'm wanting to wire them up to the dome lights relay so they come on/drop down when the doors come open or push the key fob. But I just noticed that the dome lights do not come one when i open the rear doors?? I searched around and seen people having problems with one door going out. But both rear doors broken? My speakers, windows and locks work though... I've never really paid attention to it seeing that when I GET IN its the driver seat. And now that I'm looking, the door ajar light doesnt come on either. So Is this normal for the megacab? or is there an actual problem?

You got a problem, most likely a broken wire somewhere in or around the boot that passes the wire into the door from the chassis.

Probaly a wire in each door, pretty easy to pull the condom off and inspect the wiring, this is super common in 4door trucks because the doors swing open so wide.

I have the same problem but just on driver side rear. I have no doom light and no power lock. Haven't check speaker but the window does work. Was told have to remove the door panel to get that boot off in jam to inspect where broken wire may be.
