2008 Ram - HID Headlights Driving me to Drink!
Hopefully someone can chime in here. I have no idea what’s going on lately but I have blown 2 ballast's in the last 2 weeks both on right side. I am using a relay as you need to with headlights on an 08 ram. I have had this on truck since new and never had any issues like this. I can’t figure out what would be making the ballast blow and only the one side. Any ideas?? The fuse also blew in the relay. I just changed the bulb and waiting for new ballast to arrive so now everything will be new. I don’t think a bad bulb could blow the ballast could it? The bulb still lights so it wouldn’t be bad? I am out of ideas here. I believe I have both sides grounded really good also so that is ruled out.
