Default Simple Trailer Wiring Issue NEED help!!

I've been pestering all the dodge forums with this question and haven't been able to resolve it so here is my last attempt before it goes to a mechanic.

I have a 4 pin flat trailer harness. The wires are as follows:

white- ground
brown- running lights
yellow- left brake/signal
green- right brake/signal

The brown wire works great. I turn on the truck lights and get 12v the trailer clearance markers ect turn on..no issues there. That to me confirms a good ground.

The issue is with the other two wires. The green and yellow constantly have 10v and nothing changes when I hit the brake or the turn signal. Why and how are these wires getting 10v constant?

Nothing has been rigged or messed with this is neat factory wiring.

This is NOT a connector issue. These readings don't change if i test at the connector or directly in the wire 2 feet behind the connector.

Chances are, you are having problems with the TIPM, or PDC, depending on the year of your truck. These modules are where those feeds originate from.

computerized fuse box.. corrosion on the circuit board..

very common issue.. and it mostly starts with trailer light circuits... left side brake and turn signal

I had to install an aftermarket trailer wiring kit... 2 years ago.
this problem had been discussed since 07 or 08... all gen 3 trucks.

I forgot to mention this is a 2006. And it's funny you mention the left side goes bad first because I vaguely remember 2-3 years ago hooking up to a tiny utility trailer and not having left side lights only right...now they are apparently both bad.

Is there any way to clean up the corrosion?

And if not what does an aftermarket wiring kit include? I may have to rig something up and just tap into the brake/turn signal wires at the back of the truck.

I appreciate the help. Everyone seems to have the same consensus. Bad TIPM.

Oh well can't complain first thing to go in 9 years of this truck being used everyday.
