2007 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L 94,000 miles.
Currently in limp mode. replaced throttle body and APPS. Checked all electrical connections, reset the PCM and still no go. Any ideas ? P2112 is the only code shown on the scanner.

 

This just happened to me. Mine is p2111 code and p0222 and p0123. I believe its the trottle body sensor that needs replaced. This is after i changed the plugs and cleaned the throttle body.

 

The Throttle Position Sensor ? If so, that is part of the throttle body assembly. I'm beginning to think the PCM is malfunctioning. Both parts that were replaced made no difference. The PCM was reset and it does not come out of limp mode. P2112 is the only code the scanner is showing.

 

Have you re-calibrated the throttle body after replacement?

After removing the battery neg and bleeding away all the residual voltages in the truck by leaving the headlights and 4way flashers running etc for about 15 mins (thus resetting the PCM). Switch the heads and flashers back off. Reconnect the battery and then switch the truck on to just the ignition position on the key. Do not crank the engine!
Then within 10 seconds, press down 5 times to fully wide open throttle the accelerator pedal, pausing slighly at WOT fully open position.
Make sure 5 times within 10 seconds.
Switch off the truck and leave for 10 sec's, then start the truck up.

Worth a try.

I screwed up by throwing parts at it. After sitting down and thinking about it, I found the ETC motor negative wire was open. The harness was rubbing on the metal a/c line. New wire spliced in and the truck runs great.
