05 Ram 1500 Closeouts???s
Hello all,
Looking for input from savy dealer negotiaters. I just got a quote from one of the local dealers here in Houston:
At this time, I can offer you the following vehicle and pricing:
2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4X2
5.7L HEMI Magnum V8 Engine (Electronically-Controlled Throttle)
Cloth 40/20/40 Split Bench Seat
5-speed automatic transmission
34-Gallon Polyethylene Fuel Tank
Speed Control
Black, Silver, Almond, Blue or Red
MSRP = $28,405 INVOICE = $25,802
YOUR PRICE = $25,702 - $5000 Rebate = $20,702 + TT&L
I wanted to know if the above can still be negotiated down??? Thanks in advance.

There is always room to get a little more out of them. I have seen the 4x4s that stickered fro 33 go for 23/24. At a minimum you should be coing out of it with a few accessories, bedliner, whatever.
You can do better. Get your bottom dollar then lease it. There is an additional (up to) $6k cash back. Then go to a credit union, refi at 5% and you got a steal on the truck. This is what I did - stickerd at 31k - out the door at 18k with the additions I had installed not counting tt&l. Now, it all depends on dealer participation. They do not have to give the full rebate on the lease so you might check around at different dealerships.
