Default grabbing brakes

Hello, I have an 06 1500 4x4, 100K miles. While driving about 60mph it felt like the left front brake grabbed. Just for an instant. And only slightly enough to make the rubber squeal a bit. This happened about six times. I changed the pads but kept the rotors which are only about four years old. Problem went away until last week. This time it felt like the grab came from both the front wheels. I've been having some trans issues with come codes coming up (0700,0734) so was wondering if it could be related? I was thinking maybe the brake control module possibly?

front wheel speed sensors (ABS).... front wheel bearing going bad.. causing the wheel sensors to go nuts (LOL)...

wires for above... what is going on is dangerous... get it looked at.

I do not understand how the ABS could be working without the brakes applied ... unless the brake lights switch is also going bad.. (as sometimes lights stay on)..

When my wheel unit bearings were on their way our they would do that. The ABS cannot apply the brakes! Check the bearings.

I appreciate both of your suggestions. I will check into what you each mentioned this week and weekend. I'll post what I hope to be a positive outcome.

I thought the stability system does though, which is based on analysing wheel speeds amongst other things.....
