I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 hemi mag 5.7. It has 150,000 miles on it runs great except when pulling in tow or haul. It doesn't have the power The engine raves way up and it starts getting hot. But in regular drive with out towing or hauling I have all kinds of power. Any Ideas changed fluid about 5,000 miles ago

The only code I get is for my fuel evaporative system. On the traning I have never changed the filter, from what I understand there are two filters. Soon as I can I am going to change both of them. I should have added the only time the taning doesn't work right is on a steep pull with a load. On a good climb it will rave up to a little over 4 grand and it starts getting hot. Thank You for the come back Thank You

You can try a fluid and filter change. It may or may not help. Does the fluid look dark and smell burnt?
