i have a 04 dodge ram bought with blown motor the boy started to take apart just trying to hook back up to test the system where does the ground strap from battery the one to the frame is hooked up the other goes towards the motor on drivers side but where does it bolt to thank you for your help

on mine it bolts to the valve cover on the intake side

 

haha, I found a picture that actually shows mine on my 2008. Directly to the cast-iron block.

 

after seeing that photo Im going to relocate mine that's a much better grounding spot by all means
