manual transmission shifter flooping
2007 2500 5.9 4x4 with a 6 speed manual. Gear shifter is not catching gears. How screwed am I. Is this something I can do in the driveway or should I leave it to a tranny guy. Any help is appreciated.
I'm assuming since this is a 2007 5.9, you're talking about a cummins td with a g-56 6spd tranny. Best place to start is with the FSM. Also, access for the shifter is through the top of the tranny for the shifter.
