Trucks <> good gas mileage.

For example: I drive a 2006 Mazda 3 hatchback that has a 2.3L 4-cylinder engine and averages 33mpg.

My 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 has a 5.7L 8-cylinder engine that averages 15-17mpg.

The Mazda is small and nimble; however, I cannot use it to haul 10 sheets of drywall, 20 2x4 studs, and a myriad of other building supplies, nor can I hitch an 18' trailer to that car to haul 5,000lbs of scrap metal.

Gotta use the right tool for the job.
