hi everyone..i am getting ready to attemp to fix my 2003 ram 1500 front drives sdie axle replacement ... done this 2 years ago but noticed the stub shaft was really loose in front end ...don't wanna waste another 250.00 on axle without fixing stub shaft.... what do i need to do to fix the play in the stub? just replace a bearing? do i need to take front end cover off? thanks for any help

 

anybody? someone must know what i need to do, i can't put another 250.00 axle on that sloppy stub shaft, they dont hold up to long , gets expansive ... can't find any info on the web about this at all ...wth
