Exclamation Truck stalls.

Have a 05 dodge ram 5.7, it stalled on me when coming to a stop and would not start back up. No engine light, so we pushed it in the store parking lot. Went back today with an OBDll , no codes showed up. Tried to start it up wouldn't unless I had the gas pedal down, try to idle then die. Got it going with one foot on gas and one on brake, drove it home and the damn thing idle and started back up with no problems in the driveway. Any ideas?

Sounds a lot like what mine did one of the times the EGR valve went out. I threw codes each time, though. Sounds like something with fuel delivery. If you aren't above throwing money at it to hope you hit a bullseye, it's a relatively cheap part and and easy DIY fix.

I've replaced two of them since I own the truck. Truck has over 250,000 miles on it, but I will check it this week end. I'm going to clean the TB while I change the oil. If anyone else has any input please share, thanks.

Good luck. I hope it's something as simple as the EGR valve. I've had a few of them go south, and it seems a pretty common thing.
