My 2003 5.7 Plug wires have 290K on them. Under the hood at night time doesn't show them leaking so I should be good right?
Mileage is 12-14 all around. Both city and highway with speeds sometimes around 95 mph on I-85. I think this to be normal mileage for the 5.7 hemi.
Factory and most after-market wires are rated for around 100,000 miles. After that performance starts to drop. I would seriously consider replacing them. You are asking for problems and taking a chance on coil burn out.
Sorry to resurrect av old thread but how about one for the same price but only 130K miles? (2001 2500 V10) Some rust on rear fenders but otherwise looks great. They are asking $3500. Good deal?
