I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT, Was running great after 2 long road trips then parked. 30 minutes later went to leave for dinner and would not start just turned over. 2 days later I realized that I could turn over for 3 seconds and it would start every time. I changed out the fuel pump. Problem fixed. Fired right up at least 10 times. After sitting for a few day I went to start it and it did the same thing that I mentioned above. Then it fired right up, parked it in front of the house running. After 5 minutes I went outside and it was dead and took the 3 seconds to fire up again. Any suggestions?

 

Hard to guess on this one. When was the last time you did a full tune up? Coils, plugs, wire, ect?

 

Change the Fuel Filter.....

 

No fuel filter. Its a sock on the end of the fuel pump.

 

Any codes?
