My 2006 TRX4 got stuck in lo loc. i think i broke something. i tried to shift into 2 hi while already on pavement and moving. It has the **** on the dash for shifting. it stays in lo loc but a light flashes saying hi loc. I had to take the transfer case motor off and use a universal craftsman socket to get it into high range, not sure if it is still locked in 4x4 or not. i think that is another solenoid inside that makes it lock into 4x4 regardless of gear range. I know other electric shift transfers are like that. Anyway ive been driving it for awhile like this and would like it to function proerly again. Did i burn up the motor? is there something needing reset? is there a relay that could be bad? the switch appears to be good. Any suggestions?

 

Am i in the wrong forum? No one has ever had an issue with electric shift not working?
