2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Highbeam Issue

2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Highbeam Issue
I recently bought a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI Offroad Edition 4x4.
250 000kms. Everything works perfect except the highbeams - possibly the headlights in general.
The low beams turn off when the truck is in park - only the fog lights will stay on if turned on.
The high beams turn on, and the light comes on in the dash, but no matter what will not permanently stay on, you have to hold the switch in the right position. Not sure what would cause this - any ideas what this could be?
Hoping its an easy enough fix.
As you all can probably tell I don't know to much about vehicles LOL. If you need other details or more specific details/pictures I can get those!
