Default Poor grip

Now probably a stupid question but I have a 2008 Dually which has no grip on grass or smallest amount of mud, I have had lots of 1500 and all fine, this one is a pig even in 4wd I am assuming it is due to no weight in the back? Or is it the tyres still originals?
I live in the UK so no one to ask here

Thanks

Hi bud.
Never had a dually but my mate had a powerstoke f350 dually.
Your 350 will come with an LSD.
This will make an already light rear end (footprint of tyres spreading load etc) challenging.
Also the stock Goodyears are poor as well.
Dually rears are designed to carry load.
As such, they spread load very well. Look at Disco's and Landies. They have narrowish cross section tyres and they can go anywhere.
Your compromising by having a vehicle designed for loads therefore unloaded = a big ask as the rear tyre footprint is so large exacerbating poor grip when unloaded.
Shot a couple of ATV's or other "toys" in the back and call it good 😬
Al.
