Default Passengers window switch doesn't work all the time

I've had my 04 Ram for almost 2 years now and my passengers side window doesn't go down from the switch on that side, once in a blue moon it will, and I'll notice the switch lights up when it will work.

I am always able to control the window from the drivers side switch.

Is it a matter of replacing the passengers side switch?

Could be a number of things. Bad switch or switches. Bad motor. Wiring. Start with checking for power. At the window switch. Also search on here, the 04 are known for a crack in the circuit board.

Broken solder joint on the lockout switch.

I have an 04 also.

6 months ago the passenger window stopped working (from the passenger side switch only). The driver's side controls can still lower the passenger side window.

Is that what your's was doing also?

Sounds like a broken or corroded connection on the pcb board inside the switch.

If it was the motor or any other issue, the driver switch would have same problem. Since the driver switch functions consistently, it's your pass side switch that needs to be replaced.
