Please help. I have a 2007 dodge ram 2500 with the 5.9. My shifter cable broke and Mopar has had them on backorder since June (over 1000) and won't give a date when they can ship more. I've searched every salvage yard within 500 miles of me and looked everywhere online and can't get one to fix my truck. Does anyone know of a alternate fix? A different cable that might actually work or something.... Please help me out if you can this has really put me in a bind.

 

Did you try local autoparts stores like Autozone? Even if they don't have it in stock they can order it and usually have it next day

 

Also, automatic or manual? 2wd or 4wd?
