Default MDS Hemi and Dual Exhaust

I'm sure this has been beaten to death in this area, but I'm a noob in the Ram club. 2007 Hemi w/MDS.

Is the noise from duals really that annoying when MDS kicks in? I may just pull the connector on the drivers' side head and live with the CEL between inspections if I have to. I can't drive a V-8 truck around with sissy exhaust.

It doesn't really sound sissy so much as like its misfiring lol. It sounds weird even with stock exhaust.
