Default Occational starting problem

2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 automatic 2 wheel drive. Occasionally has trouble starting...when I turn on the key nothing happens, gauges all work, no click sound, turn it off and on a few times an it will start right up. Checked battery and charging circuit and no issues. Can happen any time cold or warm doesn't matter...
Any ideas what the problem might be?

Did you also check, clean, tighten the battery terminals and all connections between battery, alternator, starter and grounds?

if your truck came with a second fob, try that and see if you still have issues, most keys tend to wear out and the chip doesn't quite read correctly when starting, might be time for a new key
