Default Engine swap questions

Hey guys I have a 2008 ram 1500 3.7 v6 with manual transmission. I'm swapping in a 5.7 and I was wondering besides the engine what else would I need to upgrade? The transmission is an obvious one but any others?

By the time you spend all the money to get the right parts. Plus all the time and labor you have to get it done. You might as well just bought another truck with a hemi in it

Since every year truck around mine is 13 grand+ then I really don't think it equals out. Plus mine is standard and they don't have the hemi with the manual transmission.

Just my opinion, if you're gonna do anything to the hemi motor I would go ahead and take care of that now. That means you're gonna probably want to do an MDS delete if you want a different cam, etc. Knowing what I do now and if I were in your position, I'd build the hemi up before swapping. If you haven't found out already, you will soon in noticing that there's a lot of front end needing to be removed to do what you're wanting to do. I'd save yourself the headache of multiple disassemblies and reassemblies.
