Electric Gremlins ...PCM?
Team I need some guidance, I have an 08 5.7 LoneStar edition 1500. I have a check engine indicating low oil pressure, Crank case is full gauge in dash is reading all good, I check and the forum says the sensor is a little touchy could have been bumped during recent oil change. IT was suggested that I clear the code. I do so and low and behold goes away for two days and comes back with not only the low oil pressure but also saying that I need to replace the ERG valve, or at least clean it, I buy a new sensor along with ERG valve and install them, all is good for about a mile and then it is back on with an additional code calling for the PCM to be checked. I have 133K on this truck so it should be still a spring chicken but through its life I have chased sensors and codes forever. It was recommended to me to have the PCM flashed and of course I make arrangements for that with local dodge dealer who refuses to do it because his scan indicates nothing is wrong with the truck at the time (light was out)...any guidance
