I was thinking the cryo was a bit much for the street too. I may go slotted because I had them on my grand cherokee and was quite happy with them. Im stlii a little suprised to feel warped rotors in the steering wheel but not in the brake pedal. It seems that alot of cars/trucks have warped roters these days. My truck only has 26k on the clock. could it be the car companys are undersizing the brakes or using cheaper metal to save $?

I'm having the same issue with my 03 1500. I've had the rotors turned 3 times in the last 3 years (I'm at 36,000 miles now), and they're now shaking again. It's definitely time to upgrade. I'm definitely a newbie when it come to braking systems. Does anyone have suggestions on brands of top of the line kits? This is for every day driving, and I do a decent amount of hauling on the weekends. I don't mind sending a little more for brakes that will make it to the 50/60k mile mark.

Thanks for your help.

When buying rotors get some auto parts use cheap rotors and sell high. The cheap ones warp real easy.
