2005 Ram still in production?
Just curious if anyone happens to know...
Are 2005 Rams still in production, or has the last one rolled off the assembly line? Some maybe still in transit to dealers? Are the 2006 models being built in the same facility as the 2005 models were?
I remember reading that much of the 2006 production was being heavily modernized and automated.

No. They stopped mid summer. I'f forgotten the exact date. However, I know this because we had one on-order and got caught with a color restriction, on top of the two-week plant shutdown. Hence, we were all very aware of the production shut-down date at the time--since we definitely did NOT want an '06.
The only '05s are whatever is on the lots. Scarf them up, 7/70 warranty and all!

I like the 2006 body style.....just not nearly as much as the 02'.
The 02' body style could have seen a few more years. The 06' looks alot less mean and more japanese oriented.
