Programmer

I am planning to purchase a programmer for my 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 SLT Quad Cab. What mods should I have on my ride before I can install one? I am currently looking at a Superchips Programmer that I saw online.

You don't have to have any mods to use a tuner. But, freeing up the intake and the exhaust compliments a tuner very well.

I'd make sure the maintenance is up to date first because you are likely to run it hard after getting the tuner. I run a performance tune on mine. Just a suggestion, but it's your truck.
