Default Default What shocks for 04 1500 ram 4x4, cannot find bilsteins..

have a 04 ram 1500 hemi 4x4 quad cab long bed,
just cranked torsion bars and 35s on aftermarket wheels,

around 165k miles, noticed my pass. shock broke in half, not connected anymore,

looking to get all 4 shocks, everyones talking about bilsteins 5100,
but cannot find them anywhere expect for the rear, or for 2500 3500 rams etc

would prefer the 5100 over the 4600,
or recommendations on another brand , rancho or rough country?

thanks

Hi
I checked them but nothing for a 4x4 1500 ram 2004

only for 2500 3500 or 2wd rams

That's because they aren't made for the 1500. You need the parts for one with a lift or for the 2500.

ah thanks
went ahead with rough country nitrogen 2.0 shocks , was less than half the price of bilsteins, putting them on this week along with moog tie rods, ball joints, new brakes and wheel bearings hubs

I did all those Moog parts last year. You don't realize how much has been "lost" over the years until it's all new again. Even if you count your twists on the TRE's, make sure to get an alignment.
