I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 with a little over 191,000 miles on it. Ive had it at the mechanic for 2 days and they can't seem to figure the problem out. It hesitates and dies when I first start it up, then when I'm going down the highway the rpms surge but my speed doesn't increase. It also will die when I try to take off from a stoplight or stop sign. The rpms also surge when I'm sitting at an idle. What could be the problem? Any advice would be appreciated!
