First post so hello all,

I have never owned a Dodge, so I'm a nooby with them. I am about to move to Colorado in the snowy mountains, so I traded in my 2WD Ford for this 4WD Dodge. So far it's a great truck. Only 1 issue -- sometimes (4 times in a week so far) it just dies after shifting into drive. No engine light comes on or anything. A buddy says it is likely a clogged throttle body or the computer needs a reboot. I read through the "common issues" thread and didn't ser anything. Any ideas?

Also, is there anything else I should watch out for? It has 136k mileage and actually runs fantastic. Thanks!

 

Welcome on this forum, Well i got the same problem. Engine died when i change the drive on stop. A friend told me to clean my trottle body. But i have not yet tested this. Try to clean it and let us know the result.
