Default 2008 1500 electrical/transmission issues.

Back in January I bought a 2008 Ram 1500 with the 3.7L V6 from an older gentleman. Truck has been great until about a week or two ago. I had tires put on it and since they were working on it I had them check the battery as it was the original from 2008 and I noticed it was getting tired. As suspected the battery was in need of replacement so I had them change it. Now I have two issues with the truck. I have noticed that the low windshield washer fluid warning comes on a few minutes after I start the truck even if it is topped off. The second issue that has happened twice is the transmission will seemingly get stuck in second or third gear. If I turn the truck off and restart it everything is back to normal. Is this an electrical issue? If not can you point me in the direction of what to look for?

By the way the truck had 29,000 miles on it when I bought it. It now has 35,000 and had no issues until the battery change.

Have you had the opportunity to take it to the dealer? - Kevin T, Social Connect Team

Lightbulb W-washer fluid level

Check the wiring connections on the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir.
