Default Is my compressor shot so I can order one

Compressor kicks on but blowing hot air, Condenser fan working all fuses good also relays. I had service done on it today, vacuumed and recharged and no leaks. After recharge the compressor would not kick on, check the volts at plug and they are good. Was going to order new compressor but on the way home today it kicked on and had great ac. I decided to turn it off and back on again and compressor wouldn't come back on. Is this a sign that clutch is bad maybe not catching. Just want to know before I drop money on compressor. Thank You

I see on rock auto they have pressure switch's for hi and low. And a clutch cycling switch which says its accumulator mounted.

Ac runs on a evaporator temp sensor which when bad causes system to freeze up most of the time. No pressure switches.

Back of the compressor? Has to have hi and low switches. Never seen one that doesn't. Look for an electrical connector in the lines. Usually 2 wires.

Found one on top of compressor and changed it. Compressor kicked on and drove for 20 minutes with ac then didn't come back on after I shut off truck and restarted

Hour after I got home I went out full air conditioner. Sat and watched kids for 45 min at Tae Kwon Do and no ac when I came out. What else can I look at other that compressor or should I face the fact that it's going. Just doesn't seem like thats the problem.
