Default 03 5.7 Hemi head bolts.

Hi.

Anyone know if the cylinder head bolts on a 5.7 Hemi are re-usable??
Are they "stretched" on install and need replacing, every time the heads come back off?
Any help is appreciated as I'm taking my heads off as I think I may either have a damaged head gasket or a cracked head.
Anyone have any tips on removing the fuel feed pipe which that wacky quick connect/disconnect fitting that goes to the fuel rail?
I tried a cheap AC tool but, no amount of pulling twisting or pushing will pry that sucker off

HELP.

Al.

They are TTY (torque-to-yield) and should be replaced everytime the heads come off.

That doesnt mean that you CANT reuse them, but that you SHOULDNT.

If it were me, I would spend the $60 as peace-of-mind.

Use a fuel line disconnect tool. I had to shave down the one I bought to clear the fuel rail. Just jam that sucker in and pull!

Don't reuse head bolts either
