Default 07 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L / Surging idle fix

Aloha, I got an 07 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 4.7L magnum engine/ auto 4x4 trans. Vehicle has about 140,000 mile on it purchased from private owner. First quick fix done - I've noticed that the idle surges from 600- 1200rpm, off and on while in park and some times would surge while driving about 10-20 mph. Purchased a new (TPS) throttle position sensor from Amazon for 19 bucks. Once changed out the idle stayed at 600 rpm and never jumped since. I hope this will help someone who has an issue like this, I know it can be a major head ache not knowing what's wrong. Mahalo

idle should be 750. if you have issues go oem for sensors. these motors don't like aftermarket, my 05 4.7 is turning 200,000 miles soon, keep up the maintance and they will run forever
