Air Bags or New Leaf Springs?
2008 1500 4x4 QC with 152k on the clock...
I was dinking around this afternoon and noticed my pickup had a little lean to the passenger side, so I decided to take a few measurements. The drivers side is sitting about an 1'' higher than the passenger when measuring from the top of the rim to the bottom of the wheel well.
Which would be the way to go here...replace the leaf springs or throw on a set of air bags? I have no experience with the air bags and it looks like cost is a wash.
I don't do a lot of towing...mostly 4-wheelers during hunting season (1 the bed & 1 on a trailer) or a load or 3 of firewood in the winter.
