thinking??, read a few threads about some dodge trucks 1500s have put the 6.1 exhaust manifolds on there pickup wanted to find out if anyone can point into the right thread. thanks

 

you could just get pacesetter longtubes for under $400

 

The only 6.1 manifolds that will fit in any Ram are SRT Grand Cherokee manifolds into 4th gens. The LX manifolds don't fit the trucks. The GC versions are different and no one has put a set into a 3rd gen that I've heard of. Only reason for doing this was a cheap alternative to headers that still fit the D ports on the eagle heads.

 

Getting to the install here next weekend found a complete exhaust set for $75 myself will be doing all the modding considering i have to use the 6.1 mid pipes and mod the EGR in the right/passenger exhaust manifold. right now porting the exhaust manifolds and working on the EGR.
