I have an 08 2500 and I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a plug in for the 3.5 inch dash speakers or if you have to splice into existing speaker wires. I have a SET BIG HORN that doesn't come with them and my dash is currently all apart for other reasons just would like to know since I can get to all the wires I need right now. Any info appreciated thanks

Crutchfield doesn't give you that info... thats why I'm asking on here incase someone has ever added those speakers

 

With a big horn you should've gotten the premium sound system (Infinity) with it. Are the speakers missing or are you just looking to upgrade?

 

There are no speakers or wires. big horn had a couple different packages and with mine it wasn't premium sound

 

I added the 3.5" dash speakers. I ran an amp and my stereo has pre amp outputs for additional front speakers. Pretty simple, but there are no wires there waiting for you. If you have a stock radio unit, it's going to be more complicated.
