Unhappy 02 ram 4.7 sounds like jet when reved

Hello, I have an 02 ram 1500 4.7.

I recently drove through quite a bit of water. It ran fine for a day then I went to get on the highway and it sounded like it would blow up if I gave more than %50 throttle. Getting up to 60mph now takes a while. It runs fine till it hits 3k rpm. And it sounds like a 20 year old truck. Engine seems to be fine trans works mostly fine.

When the rims come back down it idles up and down hard for a while (which makes sitting at lights on the breaks interesting).

I can't find any vacuum leaks. Only thing I could find is the fan is loose. As in the shafts wiggles just barely with force and the fan moves separate from the shaft.

Sounds like a bearing is out around the fan pull your.

I am not a mechanic and don't pretend to be. Any help/guidance is much appreciated.

see if your fan spins freely or has some resistance, if freely the clutch is shot.

With belt could be moved a little. Without the belt spins freely. Would bad clutch have affected water pump at all?
