Sounds like the typical broken blend door. I had this problem and only had the defrost that would work changing directions by the dash control would do nothing.

2 ways to fix, remove the complete dash to get at heater box and then replace all the doors. or Just do as I did and you will have to remove the radio and lower shroud with cup holder to expose the area you will need to get at. I just cut some metal brackets and then located the area that needed to be cut on the heater box. I did this and was able to get inside the heater box to remove and replace the broke blend door.
All this is explained on the Heater Treater web site they are the ones who supply the new designed doors and the areas to be cut. You will need some tools to perform this job, like a dremel tool to cut the heater box with the pattern you will get with your kit from heater treater. It took me about a day to do it the way I did. If you remove the dash you will have to disconnect the air conditioning and heater core to get the dash and heater box out. About a 2 day job and about $1000-$1400 at the dealer.

This is not a fun inexpensive fix for the heater blend doors.

Just google heater treater

Good Luck

Make sure its not a hose leak and if it is the pump that is easy to change out prob about $80.00 new but changing yourself and might need some antifreeze.

I see your in Minnesota I hope you get it all fixed before the real bad weather rolls in.

Good luck
