Default Wich Ball Joint will you use?

Hello everybody!
I have a big problem now. Since 2011, I have change 3 sets of ball joints and now, the set which will change 2014 is also defect and i have to change them again...
I drive a Dodge Ram2500, 2004, 4WD "Heavy Duty" with the tire size 315 / 70-17

What kind of ball joints do you use and which would you recommend? ACDELCO and Moog were installed, i dont trust them again...

thanks a lot, greetings from germany
Rik

Hi Rik. Where in Germany are you? There's a pretty good size Ram contingent over there.

I have, and am very happy, with MOOG on mine, but it's a 1500.

One of my favorite shots of my truck in Germany :

Hi!

thansk for answer! Yes, there is a good community, i'm also moderator in a forum (dodge-forum.eu). But in USA are a lot of more RAMs, so i hope to get a input for new, better ball joints.
Since 2011, i have installed 3 BallJoint (upper and down at the same time!)
AcDelco, January 2011
Moog, September 2012
Moog "first class" November 2014
I think, that is to much for the time, i'm driving ~10.000mls each year, no offraod...

Did you came with your truck to germany to the nürburgring? The picture has been taken in the "Karussell", right?

thx
Rik

I agree, they should be lasting much, much longer than that. I believe that MOOG parts have lifetime warranties, no? I agree with the above question, as well: do you grease them regularly? ARe they wearing out, or tearing?

Yes, I had my truck over there in Kaiserslautern (Jettenbach, actually) from 2010-2014. That photo on the Nürburgring was two days before I shipped it. Good thing I didn't crash it there! I drove my truck all over Germany, into France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria... and probably elsewhere. It's not exactly an Autobahn vehicle, but it was FUN. I woke up to notes on my window several times from people wanting to buy it from me. I probably would have made a nice profit, but I just can't sell this thing!

AC Delco are probably the stock ball joint, so I would err on the side of caution and go with that brand. A lot of guys prefer Moog only because they've always used Moog; however, I've observed a lot of complaints about Moog over the past decade, maybe longer.
