Default High Flow Cat Problems?

Hey, so i have a 2005 ram 1500 with a 4.7 magnum, it is straight piped with high flow cats, i recently got into a little fender bender with a tree i guess you can say, but after that happened it sounded normal and all the sudden one day it got 2x louder, kinda like the cats just weren't there anymore. May i remind you the exhaust was leaking a tiny bit from ****ty welds on the cats but not a lot. Why is it sounding so much louder? Thanks
