Default 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 Flex 02 Sensors

My truck (see title) has 4 O2 sensors (2 upstream 2 downstream).. everything I've read leads me to believe that there is no difference between the type of sensors (upstream vs downstream). Anyone have any input? Thanks in advance

I have an 04 Ram with the 4.7 motor. I changed mine about 2 years back and they were all the same. This may be the same case for you. I went with the Denso brand. I haven't had any problems with them since I put them in but I did have an issue unplugging them and I had to bust the tab to get them apart. It didn't effect anything when I put them back together. Check Rock Auto and see what they offer. It really should be pretty easy to do.

Factory is NTK, made in USA. The NTK in the parts stores are almost all made in Japan.

The differences between up and down are nothing, except for the length of the pigtail and the index marks for the connectors.I always thought those indexes were ridiculous. I have been known to shave them off the male side with a razor to make others fit. A 2007 3.7 I did the other day had 3 of the same part numbers. The 4th one had a longer pigtail so it could be tethered and not contact the driveshaft.
