Default Wiper Dead spot

So I have recently replaced my wiper blades and windshield (unrelated issue). Before and after windshield replacement there is a annoying dead spot right in my line of sight. It just seems the center of the blade isn't fully depressed. Anyone else have this happen? Cure? New arms or can you source replacement springs?

I've had the same problem with blades in the past. I honestly think its a brand thing. Some seem to work better than others. I put the Autozone brands on my truck and didn't have a problem. Looks like you can order the whole arm for under $20 on rockauto (at least for my 04).

make sure the arm pivot is not seized. if its tight, the blade spring won't put enough downforce on the blade.
some people try spring helpers. I would replace the arms.
