"05 Ram 2500 5.7 Stalled, ABS/ Brake lt on
I have an 2005 Ram 2500 5.7L Hemi 4x4 Auto 85K.
Started truck this morning to warm up (temp about 40F). Truck started normal, as I walked back inside sounded like RPMs dropped twice, engine recovered and then died. Walked back out, had to crank a few seconds (maybe 5) then the truck started. ABS and Brake lights remained on, no check engine light. Fuel light did come on had about 1/8th of a tank when parked the night before but the fuel light had not come on yet needle is just above the "E" now(had every intention on fueling up on the way to work).
I haven't had a chance to dig into it yet and was wondering if all indications were related or if I have separate issues (i.e. low fuel causing stall and maybe transmission or wheel sensor causing brake and ABS lights).
I did however do an oil/ filter change this weekend and dropped the pan on the transmission to replace the fluid and both filters there. Have only driven it once since then and didn't end up on level ground to check the hot fluid level in the transmission though the cold level was near the top of the "good" range.
Any thoughts on where to focus on that may be all inclusive of the symptoms?
