Default Overdrive Lock Out

Has anybody installed an overdrive lock out on their 05 4x4 2500 with the HEMI and 3.73 gears?

I'm still curious as to why 4th isn't 1:1 and 5th OD. Then tow/haul would just lock it out.

I agree--tow/haul mode should lock out OD, plus change your shift points.

I think Dodge agreed and fixed this for 06. I read where the 06 Rams where going to have both Tow/Haul and OD Off modes.

They do have both. I just bought an 06, but with the 4 speed transmssion instead of 5 speed. The O/D off of course turns O/D off. The tow/haul mode changes shift points and downshifts on deceleration. On the 5 speed, the O/D off button takes out 4th and 5th gears i believe.

Maybe Dodge will make a kit to adapt to the 05 models.
