My heat only works when i mash on the gas any thoughts on what could be the problem?

 

I'm going to assume you mean you only have air blowing out a certain place (your feet when in heat mode) when you press the gas and not that you have cold air blowing somewhere and you get hot air when you press the gas? Being descriptive and detailed in your questions keeps us from having to guess what you really mean.


If the former is true, sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere causing the blend doors to shift when there is vacuum (pressing the gas).
