Do rear windows lock?

Default Do rear windows lock?

I have a 2007 Ram 3500, do the rear windows have a lock?? Mine has stopped working and was wondering can not find any info it. I bought it used. not sur it was working before. hear no motor noise or anything. any help??

They are only motorized. I don't remember or seeing a way they can lock. If you can manually slide the window, then the cable has broken inside the motor and themotor will need to be replaced. You will need to remove the rear seat back to change the motor. I don't think they are very expensive. $100 or so.

The lockout button is for ALL windows.

No, the lockout button is for 3 windows, you can still work them all from the drivers control. You probably have a broken wire, or two, or three in the harness between the pillar and the door. Slide back the rubber boot and have a look. Very common.

Dog, I believe he is talking about the rear seat side windows. He said rear windows, not window.

Of course, after he says windows, the next sentence describes a singular window. I could easily digress into a diatribe on frickin grammar, but I won't. We'll just have to guess what OP is talking about!
