Default Funny noise and no power steering

Ok, I'll try to explain the symptoms and hopefully I can get some advice. It started a few days ago with a clicking noise towards the front of my truck. Then yesterday a belt started to squeak awfully loud at lower speeds. Then today I went to leave for work and I had no power steering and my battery gauge said it was completely dead but my truck did fire up just fine . I'm leaning towards the alternator being the cause but I was wondering if you guys could shed any light on the problem.

Loose or more likely missing belt! Start by opening the hood.
