Default Is a Steering Shaft Extension Required for a 3" Body Lift.

The Kit I got didn't come with one and I'm just curious if it is required?

Most I have seem will give you directions to knock out the stock roll pin. Move it a set amount drill it and put the roll pin back in.

Yes your kit should have come with a 1" extension, The kit i bought was from summit and they do sell parts to the kit.





2002 Ram 1500 Quad cab 5.9 gas engine, automatic with 4 wheel drive.
3" body lift
Pace setter headers with a Flowmaster American Thunder Stainless exhaust
37 x 11.50 17" BF Goodrich taKO2 with XD 17 x 9 rims.
M1 intake ( i got rid of the "keg" to solve 1 of the oil consumption issues) and a K&N air filter.
MSD 6al, MSD 8.8 mm wires and MSD blaster coil.
GS2 4.56-1 gears along with Auburn Posi differentials
Power Stop upgraded brake calipers with stainless pistons, EBC drilled and slotted rotors and green stuff pads.
