speaking of ripped, 3 grand + for a painted grill and rear bumper and 20" wheels .Ripped big Time!!! A got a loaded 06 laramie ,40 grand for 32, same seats as a sport and 20" wheels. ETC,ETC,

The package is the light group. The following part#s:
Cup/Ashtray light #55361226AA
Hood light wiring #56051115AA
Hood light #56021441
Check behind the radio bezel for the connector for the Cup light if not you will have to hard wire it in.
Check under your hood by the firewall top wiring harnees ther is a connector with a plug in it. Some models have it on the driver side some have on the passenger side but you can not miss it if you have it.
Both installs take about 10-15 mins.[sm=patriot.gif]

 

My 04 has them as well as a cup light (not sure if cup light and ash tray light are the same).

 

rammarine, can you show me the proper routing of the wiring for the hood lamp. I can not get the push pins to line up exactly in the holes in the hood, seems like there are extras. The connector for the light is on the left side, so I assume the light mounts on the right.
Any help would be appreciated

Mine came with the cup and ashtray lights, and to be honest, they leave a lot to be desired. The light mounts up high not to far from the radio, not much light actually reaches the cup holder and ashtray. I'm planning on installing a couple of led's in addition to those just because I'm tired of always having to find the cup holders for my coffee cup in the morning while I'm driving. Also, the light can't be dimmed after its hooked up to the factory wiring connector for the light, simple on- off tied to the parking lights just my 2 cents

 

Can anyone help with the proper layout of the wiring harness under the hood?

 

SOCOOL, I had to adjusty the pins so they would line up with the hood holes.
I will try to get a picture for you tomorrow. You just have to be careful and
you can move the pins along the harness.[8D][sm=patriot.gif]

Here are a couple of pictures to show the routing. My harness was a little long so I had to go this way
in order to keep the harness from poping out when the hood was closed.
