Default What remote start to buy?

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie. It does have the grey key, which I'm assuming has a chip in it. I've seen various remote starts from $30 to $500 so I'm really not sure what I need to buy...I've heard of Viper, python, and Clifford, but there's so many different ones that I'm clueless as to which one I need. Any help is much appreciated!

You will need one with the sentry bypass. Pretty much depends on what other bells and whistles you want. (alarm, etc)

Then start researching the aftermarket suppliers you mentioned. You won't get a factory one for that price.

Viper 2-way in my '05. It was just under 400 installed back then.

Did the Viper LED for a Sebring with the chip key. The fob is not as reliable as the regular 2-way. The start button broke off the circuit board on me. Had to buy another.
